Bear Eats Bear's Austin run begins October 21!

October 17, 2017

Very excited to say that Bear Eats Bear will have a proper Austin production from October 21 till November 12th in Austin, TX at a secret locale near downtown. Tickets are limited, so please reserve in advance.

We've been granted the support of the incredible & kind Rude Mechanicals, who have made us a Rude Fusion project. And our pals at Groundswell have agreed to produce the piece. I'm grateful to them & everyone who has made this project happen (especially Katie Van Winkle and Brianna Susan Smith).

At every stage, I've been thrilled to see this piece shift and expand. This production will feature three of my favorite Austin actors in a brand new prologue & epilogue. If you've heard The Last Great American Bear Hunt or experienced Apocalypse Radio, you'll know the bleak world you're entering.

If you're in Austin, we hope we'll see you there.

Ciao babies of the inferno.

The Details:

presented by groundswell theatre company
co-produced with Rude Mechs as part of our Rude Fusion series

A retro-future audio adventure on a vintage cassette.

Discover the fabled Archive of The Before Time in a feral, apocalyptic American wilderness. We invite you to The Wilds to join the Rebellion for an immersive audio experience at an undisclosed location in downtown Austin. When society burns, what narrative remnants will survive? What tales will we whisper at our campfires?

“Absolutely worth it; a little scary, a little funny, a little heartbreaking, and very, very human.”
